LaDonna White

LaDonna White, Certified Nurse Assistant instructor, is a registered nurse with a passion for vocational education. She has over 40 years of experience serving in hospitals, long-term care facilities, community settings and home care nursing. LaDonna has experience teaching nursing assistant classes in a variety of settings and has worked with Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center for nearly a decade.  

Sara Dooley - Culinary Arts - Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center

Sara Dooley

returned to school in 2013 to earn a culinary arts degree from Saint Paul College, and she hasn’t looked back since. She worked for management companies as a lead cook and pastry chef before coming to Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center as Culinary Arts instructor in 2020. Aside from the joy Sara has from teaching her students, her passions are baking cupcakes and cookies and being a dog mom.

Gladys Isaiah - Academics and Life Skills - Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center

Gladys Isaiah

is the TABE administrator at Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center. She is a middle-community and rural development practitioner who strongly believes in the people-centered approach to societal growth. Gladys’ passion for community and rural development honed her ability to work with a wide array of people, which is crucial for her work at Job Corps. When she isn’t working, Gladys enjoys traveling and eating, both of which she believes bring joy and happiness.

Hannah Lindemer - Academics and Life Skills - Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center

Hannah Lindemer

was a teacher for four years before joining Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center as academics manager. She loves connecting communities to educational support partners as part of this role, and her experience as a teacher helps Hannah guide students through the program to achieve their educational and career goals.

Dave Hultgren - Academics and Life Skills - Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center

Dave Hultgren

John “Dave” Hultgren joined Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center in November 2021 as the Driver Education instructor. His educational background is in business administration, business education and driver education, and he has over 30 years of teaching experience. Dave enjoys teaching students to drive, helping them to gain independence, and assisting them in finding good jobs and a good future.

Sarah Joyner

is the Reading and English Language instructor at Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center. Her educational background involves teaching English as an additional language to a variety of age ranges and backgrounds. Sarah values the importance of learning from different cultures’ perspectives and strives to integrate this into her teaching.

Erin O’Neill - Academics and Life Skills - Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center

Erin O’Neill

has worked with Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center for nearly 10 years, teaching an array of courses. She currently serves as the Reading instructor and has experience instructing math and high school diploma courses as well. Erin enjoys working with young adults and has a passion for reading. She encourages her students to read by finding books and reading materials they are interested in.

Virginia Heesch

has over 35 years of experience in education, teaching in both the United States and China, and now serves as a Math instructor at Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center. She previously held various administration positions as an executive and assistant director of schools, educational consultant, and startup coordinator. Virginia enjoys the opportunity to teach and interact with students at Job Corps, passing along her wisdom to the next generation.

Patrick Puskala

taught science for over 20 years and is now a Math instructor at Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center. He strives to make math enjoyable by adding fun, hands-on activities that incorporate math skills to his curriculum. Patrick encourages his students to focus on what they are capable of and to not worry about making mistakes.
