Bill Ashe

is the Advanced Information Technology instructor at Cascades Job Corps Center. He is a lifelong computer enthusiast and holds multiple IT certifications. Bill enjoys teaching Linux, computer networking and Python and uses enterprise-grade computing resources in his classroom to prepare students for high-value IT industry certifications like A+, Linux+ and CCNA.

Yvette Hawley - Medical Administrative Assistant - Cascades Job Corps Center

Yvette Hawley

is a Medical Administrative Assistant instructor at Cascades Job Corps Center with over 25 years of experience in health care and health care education. She has a degree in business management, as well as professional experience with various medical specialties, including chemical dependency, psychiatry, oncology and coding for surgeons specializing in gamma knife radiotherapy treatments. Yvette began teaching in a college environment in 2008 before joining Job Corps in 2018—and she has not looked back since.

Serena Borror

is the Clinical Medical Assistant instructor at Cascades Job Corps Center. She is a certified medical assistant with extensive experience in the field and has worked in many different specialties, including dermatology and internal medicine. Serena loves to work closely with her students and help them succeed.

Dallin Morris - Security and Protective Services - Cascades Job Corps Center

Dallin Morris

has over 40 years of experience in the security field. He worked as a federal police officer for the United States Department of the Army for 10 years and was a security officer for Warner Bros on the set of “E.R.” before joining the Cascades Job Corps Center team as the Security and Protective Services instructor. Dallin has a bachelor’s degree in geography from California State Northridge University and is working toward a certificate from Skagit Valley College in soil science and agricultural science. When he isn’t instructing, you can find Dallin traveling and enjoying sports.

Chef Judy Lyon - Culinary Arts - Cascades Job Corps Center

Chef Judy Lyon

is the owner of J Marie’s Catering & Cakes and brings over 30 years of experience in the food industry to Cascades Job Corps Center. She worked with top-tier chefs at Walt Disney World; is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu of Las Vegas, where she mastered in culinary and baking/pastry; and holds a master’s degree in nutrition from Northeastern University. As the Culinary Arts instructor, Judy is excited to teach and train students at Job Corps and prepare them to enter the culinary profession.

Jennifer Mott - Computer Technician Network+ - Cascades Job Corps Center

Jennifer Mott

Before joining Cascades Job Corps Center as an Information Technology instructor, Jennifer Mott worked for 15 years as an information technology specialist at Western Washington University. Her educational background is in information technology, and she greatly enjoys sharing her love for technology and learning with others. Jennifer is passionate about her students’ success, and outside of Job Corps, she and her family provide IT support to low-income families in their community. 

Xavier Murray - Cement Masonry, Pre-Apprentice - Oneonta Job Corps Center

Xavier Murray

began his career journey as a graduate of Oneonta Job Corps Center’s Cement Mason program. He worked for 13 years for a construction company, where he continued to master his craft. Now, Xavier serves as a Cement Masonry instructor, where he is able to use his personal experience to shape his students and guide them in their careers. When Xavier is not training his students, he enjoys working in real estate, creating spaces and opportunities for young adults to enjoy fellowship in the Binghamton area, being outside, cooking, and fishing with his three daughters.
