William made this career change so he could share his love of technology with students and provide them with skills to have a career they love. His goal is to help students become college- and career-ready. 

Before joining the Brooklyn Job Corps Center team as an Evening Studies instructor, Timothy Ruffin worked with youth at various nonprofit and community-based organizations as an instructor and college advisor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in African American studies from Rutgers University and earned two master’s degrees, in social sciences and education. Timothy specializes in creating positive and supportive learning environments for students to help them overcome barriers and reach their goals.

, a Culinary Arts instructor at Brooklyn Job Corps Center, has nearly 15 years of experience as an instructor, as well as career experience as an executive chef, pastry chef and garde manger. For Richard, the highlight of his career has been teaching and mentoring students. Whether it is in the classroom or taking students on extracurricular trips to serve the community, Richard finds great reward in his role as a Job Corps instructor.

is a Clinical Medical Assistant instructor at Brooklyn Job Corps Center. She has professional experience as a medical assistant and phlebotomist in a variety of specialties, as well as prior teaching experience at a community college. She holds an associate degree in medical assisting and received training from Stone Academy for licensed practical nursing.
